New York: Part 1

Okay, we do technically have internet at the hotel, but it’s not anything that can handle the kind of downloading I’m about to do. (Trust me; I tried a couple times Sunday night.)

So as Barnes & Noble is closing, I’m going to give you the short version — photo essay-style. Next post, I promise more detail and more about our last few days in NYC.

We landed in Newark and took a train into the City.

We had sandwiches, perfectly salted fries and milkshakes at the City Diner on 90th and Broadway.

Then we polished off the evening with a quick visit to Times Square ...

... and the Rockefeller Center!
